Sex and the City has had a long run in the public eye, with the HBO series' first season airing back in 1998. Six season and two movies followed, with Carrie Bradshaw and her girlfriends remaining at the top of pop culture. A threequel was in the works for a bit, before Kim Cattrall reportedly departed the project, causing the developing movie to go under in the process.

Now that Sex and the City 3 seems like an impossibility, some details about the proposed project are beginning to leak. This includes the fate of series heartthrob Mr. Big (Chris Noth), who was Carrie's main love interest throughout the franchise. The latest report indicates that Big was going to have a heart attack, which was also a factor in Kim Cattrall's exit.

People close to Kim believe that the script didn't have a lot to offer the character of Samantha. They point to the fact that it calls for Mr. Big to die of a heart attack in the shower, relatively early on in the film, making the remainder of the movie more about how Carrie recovers from Big's death than about the relationship between the four women.

Holy plot twist. Much like the first Sex and the City movie brought the women together for Carrie's wedding, it seems that the planned threequel would have found the girls supporting Sarah Jessica Parker's character through loss. That is, until Kim Cattrall reportedly took umbrage with the plot point.

This new report comes from the recent installment of THR's Origins podcast. It sheds a light on the details around Sex and the City 3, and why Cattrall ultimately said goodbye to Samantha Jones before the project got off the ground. In order to bring the four women together for another challenging point in their lives, the movie would have killed off Mr. Big. Carrie's girls always have her back, and Big's death was the catalyst to reunite the gang for cosmos and heartfelt talks in the threequel.

But Kim Cattrall reportedly didn't think this gave Samantha Jones enough of an interesting story arc, and she ultimately passed on the project. Samantha was last seen going through the trial and tribulations of menopause and her continued single life, so perhaps Cattrall wanted something more meaty for her signature character.

Carrie and Big's on again/off again relationship was the biggest love story to come out of the Sex and the City franchise, and spanned all of the show's seasons and both films. After he left Carrie on the altar, the two reunited at the end of the first movie, and finally got married. Sex and the City 2 showed the pair dealing with the monotony of a healthy relationship and marriage, although the third film would have taken things in a much more dramatic turn.

Check Out The Gross Prosthetic Used For Michael Myers' Injury In The New Halloween

Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Halloween (2018)! So if you don't want all the gory details, come back after you've seen it.

This year's Halloween saw the continuation of the battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers that began over 40 years ago, and just like in the original, they each got in their licks. This time, Jamie Lee Curtis' character separated the Shape from a couple of his digits with a well-placed shotgun blast. To create the gnarly injury, actor James Jude Courtney, who played Michael, wore a gross prosthetic, which you can check out below:

You know the prosthetic is good when it still looks real under harsh lighting in an Instagram post like this one does here. The injury is slick with blood where the skin is torn off, and you can even see the metacarpal bones in the hand. It is quite gross and also very awesome, leading me to believe that horror films like Halloween, where you get to do stuff like this, might be some of the most fun movies to work on.

The other great thing about the makeup is how the blood is smeared all over James Jude Courtney's hand. Also, as you might have guessed, Michael Myers is not a big hand washer. Heck, he's not even a Purell guy. So the filthy hand covered in blood and missing two fingers is both disgusting and scary, which just adds to the villainy of Michael Myers.

In his Instagram post, you can also see James Jude Courtney has makeup over his left eye. That's because in the original 1978 Halloween, Laurie Strode shoves a coat hanger into it. Basically over the course of two films Jame Lee Curtis' heroine has wreaked havoc on this dude's left side.

It's a good thing that he's traditionally right-handed because I don't think Michael Myers is going to have the easiest time wielding a kitchen knife effectively, or any weapon for that matter, in his left hand after this. So he's less capable, but as we saw in Halloween, a wounded animal is just as deadly.

Whether or not we get to see Michael Myers have another suburban reign of terror remains to be seen. The end of Halloween left Michael's fate ambiguous. After taking a rifle blast from Judy Greer's Karen, he was seemingly trapped in Laurie Strode's basement and burned alive.

But horror villains never really diem and with Laurie surviving, it seems inevitable that these two horror icons will clash again. Danny McBride is already brewing ideas for a sequel. Plusm Halloween was a massive hit so I'd expect to see a one-eyed, eight-fingered, well-done Michael Myers back to killing sooner or later.

Michael B. Jordan Asks Black Panther Fans To Stop Saying Wakanda Forever

In addition to its many box office accolades and superlative achievements, Black Panther also succeeded in introducing a new phrase into the lexicon: 'Wakanda Forever.' That is no small feat, but in the months since its release the words and accompanying gesture have become a mainstay in pop culture. Perhaps the phrase has become a bit too popular, at least for the star of the film. At the MTV Movie & TV Awards, while accepting the Best Villain trophy for his role as Killmonger in Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan made a plea to the fans on behalf of co-star Chadwick Boseman, saying:

One more thing. Chadwick Boseman, he personally asked me to ask y'all to stop asking him to say 'Wakanda Forever' out on the streets. Y'all taking the forever thing a little too seriously.

You've got to love how Michael B. Jordan took it upon himself here to make the plea on Chadwick Boseman's behalf, letting fans know that the forever wasn't meant to be taken literally. He played it as a joke, partially to entertain his onscreen rival, who won the award for Best Hero at the show. It's funny because Chadwick Boseman probably wouldn't say it, so Michael B. Jordan gets to be just a tiny bit of a villain, hitting fans with a hard truth to save T'Challa from a life of Wakanda Forever-ing.

Black Panther is insanely popular, so much so that even Avengers: Infinity War probably won't pass its box office domestically. Wakanda, T'Challa and the world of Black Panther have launched into the zeitgeist like few things before it. So, as with anything that popular, it can get overdone, especially for one of the stars of the film. Fans of course mean no harm by it, it probably just seems like the natural thing to do when seeing Chadwick Boseman on the street, using a movie reference as a way to say that you're a fan or that you respect his work, especially in Black Panther.

Even so, I imagine that it does sometimes get tiring having every fan who recognizes you on the street asking you to do the same thing over and over. That's the price of fame of course, and Black Panther has rocketed Chadwick Boseman into the stratosphere, yet we know he gets constant requests regarding the symbol. Perhaps instead of shouting "Wakanda Forever,' fans could instead comment that they liked his work in Marshall or that he was great as Jackie Robinson in 42 or even just discuss Black Panther without asking for the salute. So maybe Michael B. Jordan's request will help. You can see the actor's full acceptance speech and request to fans in the YouTube video below.

Given the popularity of the character, there is little doubt that Black Panther will play a major role in the MCU as it enters Phase 4 and beyond, so Chadwick Boseman and the stars of the film probably won't stop hearing requests to say 'Wakanda Forever' anytime soon.
